Whether accidental or intentional, usually it’s motorists who kill cyclists. There’s no way we could list all the times that happens.
But the other way around – cyclists killing motorists – is rare, so we can list those.
This is not an exhaustive list, just the cases we’ve heard about.
July 20, 2004, Milwaukee, WI
After a car cut a bicyclist off, the cyclist fired a gun into the car, killing one of the passengers, a 15 year-old pregnant girl. At press time the cyclist had not been located.Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
December 2003, Austin, TX
A truck driver got behind two cyclists and started beeping his horn. The cyclists flipped him off. The driver parked his truck and got out of it, and one of the cyclists hit him, knocking him to the ground. The driver had a pre-existing neck injury, and in the fall to the ground he broke his neck and became paralyzed. He was hopsitalized and died the following May. The cyclists had not been found.our article
